We are improving Solar Blue Book so visitors can use it with keyboards, screen readers, magnification, and other assistive technology. WCAG 2.2 Level AA is our development target; this interim update is not a claim of full conformance or an ADA certification.

Interim improvements

• Skip links and a main-content landmark.
• A visible label and instructions for the optional demo field.
• Keyboard-visible focus and focus moved to the sample result.
• A ticker pause control and reduced-motion support.
• Readable policy pages, improved contrast, and mobile form wrapping.

Calculator and homeowner guide

The valuation tool uses labeled fields, keyboard controls, visible errors, a focusable result, readable calculation tables, reduced-motion support and responsive layouts. The provider-disappeared guide uses labeled selectors, headings and a printable checklist. Inputs are not uploaded. These features have received an initial browser check; a comprehensive assistive-technology audit is still needed.

The valuation service is still under development. We have not completed a comprehensive screen-reader and WCAG conformance audit.
